"By recycling
textiles scrap, we not only conserve valuable landfill space, we reduce
the amount of natural resources used in the manufacture of new
textile production."
When our company began in the 1940’s we were continuous buyers
of textile scrap. At the time this type of material was consumed
by specific paper mills producing rag content paper. This
was considered a very high quality paper used for writing and
high end periodicals and publications. Collecting fabric and
rags for re-use has a long history in the paper making industry.

"It’s all about
finding value in your waste stream. We apply the experience
gained in assisting thousands of companies achieve the goal of
lowering disposal costs, generating income and conserving our
environmental resources.”
Although very few, if any, paper mills are consumers of this
material today, we continue to process and market various grades
of textiles. The end market for this material in this “day and
age” are manufacturers of carpet underlayment and auto
soundproofing.
According to the Council for Textile Recycling, nationwide over
4,000,000 tons of post-consumer textiles enter the waste stream
every year
